There are battles that don’t leave scars. But they are just as real.
This was a class project where we had to create a poster using only typography as the main visual element. In this design, the words “cicatrius” (scars) and “reals” (real) are visually grouped to emphasize the idea of “real scars”, even though the phrase doesn't appear as one single unit in the sentence. The aim was to create a subtle but powerful link between the two words, suggesting that some battles may not leave visible scars, but they are just as real.
The original sentence, written in Catalan, says: “Hi ha batalles que no deixen cicatrius. Però són igual de reals.” - Which translates to: “There are battles that don’t leave scars. But they are just as real.”
