Ahir, quan l'amor semblava fàcil.
This project was a class assignment where we had to create a fanzine, and I decided to base mine on the song Yesterday by The Beatles to explore nostalgia in love.
The process started with hand-drawn illustrations. I used various materials like charcoal, conté, sanguine, acrylics, and colored pencils to add different textures and tones to the drawings. First, I made sketches to develop the ideas, then moved on to the final illustrations, trying to capture that melancholic and personal feeling.
Once the drawings were finished, I scanned them at a high resolution to preserve the original details and textures. Then, I worked on the digital layout using Canva, where I arranged the images, adjusted sizes, added text, and designed the composition for each page. I also made some small edits to clean up lines and improve contrast without losing the handmade feel.
During this digital phase, I chose the typography and adjusted colors and spacing to make the overall design balanced and easy to read. Finally, I reviewed the whole fanzine to ensure visual consistency and that it conveyed the message I wanted.
