“Lliura’t del pes que portes dins” (Free yourself from the weight you carry inside / Libérate del peso que llevas dentro) is a visual communication campaign focused on everyday mental health in the city of Barcelona. It was created to connect with people living within the fast-paced rhythm of studying, working, and meeting expectations, often carrying stress and emotional weight in silence. Through shapes and colours with psychological meaning, the campaign gives form to real emotions such as pressure, frustration, confusion, or calm, and invites people to acknowledge them, accept them, and let them go. Its core message turns graphic language into an empathetic, approachable, and human experience. Applied to urban spaces such as public transport, educational centres, and key locations across Barcelona, and produced using sustainable materials, Lliura’t aims to normalise emotional self-care and remind us that asking for help is also an act of strength.
